Bowers and Wilkins, Audeze and Sennheiser are among the brands launching new product at London’s Headroom Show, which showcases the latest in portable audio tech plus the largest range of demo headphones in the UK, say the organisers.
The Headroom show which runs from 14 to 16 October at the Novotel London West, Hammersmith will this year be part of a wider audio and luxury goods event, The Indulgence Show. The autumnal Headroom is set to be the biggest event to date.
The first Headroom Show was held two years ago at Metropolis Studios, but, we’re promised, Headroom at The Indulgence Show takes the UK’s leading headphone and portable audio event to the next level
Sennheiser will be showing its new IFA-launched HD 5 Series, a ‘high-performance high-value range’ featuring Sennheiser’s E.A.R. (Ergonomic Acoustic Refinement) technology. The new HD 5 Series comprises the HD 559, HD 569, HD 579 and HD 599. All models, except for the HD 569, are open-back designs.
Audeze will have the first UK showing of its new iSINE in-ear headphones, the world’s first single-driver in-ear planar magnetic designs which also feature direct Apple Lightning connections. The earphones, weighing from just 20g, are the first to use full-range planar magnetic technology.
Bowers and Wilkins will be announcing the new P9 Signature headphones which are crafted from high-quality materials including Italian Saffiano leather and feature forged, foldable-aluminium arms for greater durability and strength. The P9 Signatures also feature proprietary piston-diaphragm speaker drivers, which are angled for spatial sound-staging.
