IFA 2017: Optoma to showcase new 4K UHD laser home projector

UHZ65 makes an early appearance ahead of launch

Optoma will be showing the UHZ65 4K UHD laser projector on stand 119, hall 25 at the technology tradeshow IFA, in Berlin.
Visitors to the event on 1-6 September 2017 will be among the first in Europe to see the new projector in action. This 3,000-lumen UHD 4K laser projector is due to be launched this winter.

Also on show will be Optoma’s new range of versatile home projectors including the recently launched UHD65 and UHD60 4K projectors, along with its range of 1080p models featuring DARBEE Visual Presence technology.

The Optoma Darbee range includes:

• GT1080Darbee short throw projector is the successor to the popular GT1080e, offering 1080p resolution, Rec. 709 colour, dual HDMI ports, 3,000 lumens of brightness, and a 25,000:1 contrast ratio.

• HD29Darbee is the next evolution of the multi-award winning HD28DSE home entertainment projector. With 3,200 lumens, this new model is brighter, smaller, and quieter - perfect for those that love to watch films, TV and sport or play action packed games without having to dim the lights.

• HD39Darbee couples high-end home cinema performance with bright, vibrant visuals to produce a stunning Full HD 1080p viewing experience. Set-up is simple with a large 1.6x zoom range, vertical lens shift, an integrated speaker and two HDMI inputs.
