Thonet & Vander introduces Dunn soundbar and subwoofer in Europe

Thonet & Vander’s latest launch delivers 2.1 audio using twin full-range drivers, a pair of mid-low frequency drivers plus a wireless subwoofer to enhance TV, movies and gaming.

Having recently lined up releases for its Kurbis and Kugel Bluetooth speakers, German multinational audio brand, Thonet & Vander turn their attention to getting the best out of your TV setup for a modest outlay of £159.99.

Packing in 250 peaks watts of power, the Dunn soundbar comprises a total of four drivers to produce clear voice separation and realistic effects and uses 2 full-range and 2 mid-low frequency drivers plus a bass reflex system that increases the bass response of the controller in order to to help achieve this. To further elevate low frequencies, the wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere in a room to add additional LFE power.

The overall effect is an immersive 2.1 surround sound system.

The sub itself is enclosed inside an HDAA (High Density Acoustic Absorber) wooden finish. The HDA is a natural polymer of high density that generates a rigid and dense material which helps prevent vibration and leakage of sound, enabling a more accurate, efficient and sustainable performance.

Support for Amazon Alexa also means that the Dunn can connect to existing smart home setups to provide full voice control over the system.
