Marantz has unveiled its latest products which have been bestowed with Special Edition status - the 12 series PM-12 Integrated amplifier and the SA-12 SACD player with DAC mode.
Following Marantz’s recent launch of its 8K ready SR series AV receivers comes the NR1711 which has many of its larger siblings’ features but in a slimline package.

The premise has been made that high end amplifiers sound largely the same and the main benefit is just a psychological feel good. Could this really be the case? Or is this the opinion of a few enthusiasts who have not heard enough different models?
The Marantz AV8805 is not only an excellent performer but it also supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro-3D, making it one of the cheapest AV processor to handle all three immersive audio formats.
