I always say "never let the facts get in the way of a good story".
Ultra-realism in films is great and I applaud the creative teams that strive for it in something like this, but first and foremost a film is about it's story and characters. That's what brings me back. I'll watch this again despite the fact that it wouldn't stand up to scrutiny by historians. For me, it's close enough.
Just watching this now on Prime and to me the cinematography is very good but it just feels like a computer game to me, going from one scene to another like going from one level to another in Medal Of Honour or something like that.
I’ve not read or heard anything about this film so watching it without any prior knowledge of it, but I’m about 80 minutes into it and hoping it will end soon.
