So my laptop's hard drive has failed for the second time in just over two years. Being out of warranty, I have decided to buy a new one instead of paying for the repair.
It was an HP Pavilion with 7th gen i5, 8gb ram and 1 tb hard drive (£629)
I don't necessarily mind going back to HP as I like the aesthetics and probably just got a dud.
I have seen two similar HPs here.

They have half the storage, but HDD's seem thin on rhe ground now.
I also like the Dell Inspiron 15, but a lot of people complain about overheating and poor speakers.

Any advice welcome.
Thanks
Darren
