Anyone used Farnells Pro Power 2.5mm speaker cable?

Well it's 2.5mm² and copper so it ticks all of my box's. That listing does seem to be double what you need though.

I'll make a bit of a confession here, being a bit tight I grabbed some 2.5mm twin and earth mains cable I already had in my garage and used it for my speakers, it's not necessarily the easiest to handle as it's solid core but a 50m reel is less than £25. It works for me.
 
For long runs like that, I used the Pro Power OFC 4.0mm2 figure of eight with clear insulation/casing.

Longest run is 15m - would I really need 4mm for that?
 
Sorry, probably not. Thought the runs might have been quite long using 100m of wire!!
 
Thankfully not just lots of runs. Cabling for 13 ch (inc atmos) in the main room and then a couple of kitchen/outdoor zones.
