Not yet confirmed but expected. [emoji1303]

Just played a bit of this on Pro this eve and it's so sharp. Very nice. Although the lod pop in is shocking - literally a few feet away and textures pop in / get cleaned up. Hoping the X version will clean that annoying issue up along with a res / texture quality bump.

Waiting to see what's what on the X compared to what I see on the Pro before I decide where to buy the premium pass. All being well it'll be X but wil wait until I see it myself.

The patch didn't fix the lag!

Although it doesn't help that my connection was playing up a bit yesterday, as well o_O

New patch seems to have added a few bits of polish to some of the visuals and sound as well. Definitely noticed a few subtle additions.

Finally managed to complete all of the specialisation assignments as well last night. Not sure I will use half of them..but at least OCD is calmed!

Bit late to the party here and coming from a COD background as far as shooters are concerned, is the multiplayer more hard-core and out of reach of more casual gamers such as myself?

I was thinking about COD WW2 but put off now by the very poor release with servers going nowhere.

I played the multiplayer on BF3 on PS3 briefly a while back but never seemed to last very long before dying.

Bf1 is probably the easiest game in the series to start off in. But plenty to master along the way when you get into it.

The guns are nice and simple and you can normally find one of them that you will get used to. Much easier than all of the attachment options of bf3/4.

As with all BF games you can't play the main modes like COD. It needs team work to succeed.

The team work angle may make it not work for me. Not that I'm anti-social but with young kids I tend to dip in and out for a few rounds of TDM rather than having a big session.
I'll check out some gaming footage to get a flavour, there are some good deals on at the moment I notice

If you are only going to play TDM them imo it's not the game for you. Don't get me wrong they are great and I play them as warm up games sometimes. But you are missing out on what makes Battlefield. Try and look at Operations as a game mode. Great mix of infantry and vehicle gameplay that takes a good mix of play styles to be successful at.

And teamwork is not just squads. But playing an objective. Being a good support or medic. If you insist on playing a sniper then play aggressive and make the most of the class and the spot flares.

Do a lot of people still play this? I️ got this last year and really enjoyed it, I️ just randomly stopped playing it and thinking of giving it another go. None of my friends play it though so will be going in as a Lone Ranger

Yep. Plenty of people on PS4...its the only game I play [emoji85]

I play 'Lone Ranger' however it's not that difficult to 'use the force' and simply support your teammates by supplying, healing, reviving, spotting, capping and shooting!

I've got hours & hours of play under my belt on Operations and i've been clocking up the hours recently on Frontlines. I'd say Conquest & Supply Drop are the two modes where it takes a bit more in the way of communicating in order to co-ordinate successful teamwork.

Thanks for the feedback all, does the Season Pass bring much to the game? The Revolution edition which I believe contains the game and DLCs is £30 which seems pretty decent.

Yes IMO, the new maps they've released as part of the Russian DLC are very good and look beautiful, plus there's more new maps due out in December for the next DLC release.

50-50. I got premium for £20 in a sale so i'd say just about worth it. The maps are generally pretty good but there was an issue with trying to get into a server with enough numbers to make the game enjoyable on some of the DLC maps.

The guns you could take or leave, for balancing purposes they can't give out uber guns for DLC owners and if they do this accidentally then it's gonna get nerfed sooner rather than later.

Having said that you may find a gun that suits your play style better than the others available vanilla for that class so i guess 'it depends' is the answer to that one! :D

Shame you can't play Frontlines on the Russian maps as that's my favourite game mode.

This is probably a strange question and I hope this is allowed, I have gone back to this after about year away from it. I am trying to complete the campaign on “hard”but there are a few bits I am struggling with. Would anyone would be willing to help me? We could do share play. It is only certain parts, but I have put some time into it and don’t want to go back to easy difficulty. It shouldn’t take too long. If anyone could spare the time I would appreciate it
