HI all, I'm really struggling to find a center speaker stand at any kind of reasonable price. Anything I see that I like is either £300 plus, in the states or unavailble now. The only one I have seen that I can order is the Custom Design one at Custom Design CS300 410mm 16-inch Black Centre Speaker Stand (Single) - Speaker Stands - AV Online - UK Home Cinema and Hifi Specialists

I would order that but again its not in stock and on backorder.

Can anyone find anything else like it? Ideally a metal construction and around 18" its to fit a Mission m3c2.

Thanks in advance.

I went for the avonline one, was only thing I could find anywhere, they got one to me within a few days. It’s fine actually, solidly built. I saw that one but thought having it on the floor would be too low as I didn’t want a cabinet below the screen.

Following you round the forum!

I went for this as wanted it as low as possible. I guess you want higher up, as per your link?

How have you found this? What is the height once tilted? I am looking at this right now

It's fine mate, good really. At a guess the front edge of the speaker is about 75mm from the floor. I suppose the distance away from it has an effect, i'm about 2.5m (at another guess).

So when it's tilted upwards it's about 7.5cm?

My current centre is located here below the TV. I was considering lowering it down to the next shelf level - check the little pin hole to the left.

I'm trying to work out if a) it would fit tilted and b) whether lowering it there creates a better angle.

I could also put it on the bottom shelf which would be quite a bit lower. Any thoughts? I can buy on Amazon so easy to return but I'd appreciate your input.

It's really not a good idea to have a speaker inside a cabinet.

The problem with center speaker stands is they make it stick out, how wants a center speaker in front of the TV and racking, it needs to be out of the way but also as close to the TV as possible.

The only solution for flat panel self standing (for me) is stands like the Orgin SII, where it has a shelf (or shelves) which are adjustable, and the TV height is also adjustable.
