CES 2018: Hisense showcase U7 and U9 LED LCD 4K TVs

At just over £2100 for the 65” U9A, considering the specs and if it can actually deliver on them it looks like it could be an absolute beast of a tv for the money.

if the Italian prices are applied to all Europe it is really a good price !

Does anybody think the series 7 H55U7AUK will be any good? It's now available to buy on quite a few online retailers but no proper reviews online anywhere.

Looks almost identical visually to last years series 7 H55NU8700 apart from the speakers on the H55U7AUK being on the back and not the front.

Wonder if there will actually be any improvements in the H55U7AUK over the H55NU8700 apart from the sports mode and faster Vidaa 2.5 OS.

John Lewis now has the 75inch 75U9A available to buy for the not too shabby price of £3,499.00.

Wow £3.5k gets you alot of tv with hisense.
I've never owned one but the U9 has caught my attention. Just hope reviews are forthcoming and good.

but beware of these TVs there is only 2 HDMI Version 2.0 the other 2 are in version 1.4 !
for information:
H75U9A = (FALD)with 1056 zones
H65U9A = (FALD)with 720 zones
U7A = (Edge-Led)with 16 zones

Wow the 65inch has alot of zones. I currently have a Panasonic 55" As802. It's a 1080p FALD tv with i think 32 zones. And my screen is gradually going green.
I've only got two 4k sources being the PS4 Pro and Xbox one s (wanting to upgrade to a X in the future).
So short term my ps4 pro and Xbone would be directly fed to the tv. Audio either optical to my amp or headset. That's until I upgrade my amp.
This converting to 4k game ain't cheap but this tv ticks alot of boxes so far.

Thanks for all the info so far it's been very helpful.

Some more spec's of the U7A - 400 nits, 65% BT2020 colour range. Not that great to be honest but HDR10+ is meant to be added in a future firmware update and likely will as it's one of Hisense official 2018 World Cup tv's ⚽ big push on the tv market this year.

Judging from the price of the 65inch U9A on European retailers and the UK price of the larger 75inch U9A at only £3,499 from John Lewis you could be right the 65inch U9A being close to £2100 when it releases in the UK. Fingers crossed

I think I'll wait 11 months for the price of the 75" to drop to under £2,000.
I doubt the flagship 75inch Hisense U9A will drop to only £2,000 after just 11 months. It's available to buy justnow in the UK at just £3,499 at John Lewis, not sure if they have some exclusive deal with Hisense to sell it in the UK before anyone else. A Hisense UK tech guy told me over email that the 65inch U9A will be available to buy in late July from John Lewis at £2,199.

No reviews yet but on paper some of the the specs look even better than the new Samsung flagship Q9FN. On the Hisense 1000 zones (700 for the 65inch model) and 2500 nits compared to 500 zones in the 65inch Samsung (75inch model might have slightly more) and 2000 nits.

£3,500 for the Hisense 75inch U9A versus £5,999 for the 75inch Samsung Q9FN, that's almost half the price. If the reviews are good which i hope they will be then that's a bargain for a top of the range 75inch tv.

Hisense 55 '' and 65 '' OLED will be unveiled at IFA 2018
Citation:
"The curiosity is really a lot, also because Hisense is a brand that has always stood out for very aggressive prices and a 55-year 2018 OLED around 1300-1500 euros would not sound like an absurd hypothesis, considering how today is enough 1400 euros to take home an LG 55C7V from last year."

So has anyone seen the 507A in action yet as i nearly pulled the trigger today but still waiting for review

Nope, i was also tempted to pull the trigger. But I'm going to hold out for reviews of the much higher specced U9A and buy the 65inch version in July only if the reviews are positive.

I’m confused, both the U7 and U9 were announced as running on Android TV, with Google Assistant and Alexa support, yet there is no mention of this on any of the retailer’s websites, nor on Hisense’s.

Hisense 2018 TV Line Emphasizes Affordable Luxury with Industry-Leading Picture Quality, Enhanced Smart Features and Breakthrough Bezel-Less Design

Are these features likely to arrive as part of a software update, or have they been quietly dropped?
They will arrive later in the year in a software update (Alexa limited to only the UK, German and USA equivalent models) plus also a future HDR10+ software update is planned for the 2018 U7 & U9 models.

Thank you for that! There also doesn’t seem to be any mention of Dolby Vision support, despite the press release saying they’d have it, so not sure what is going on there either.

VU Quantum Pixelight 4K HDR TV (H75K800) clone of H75U9A ;)

Complete rip off of the Hisense H75U9A design and also stealing Samsung QLED, Hisense HDR Supreme names :rotfl: wonder if Hisense & Samsung will file lawsuits!
