CES 2020 News: Samsung 2020 8K QLED lineup adds NextGen TV

All very nice, but pretty pointless for the UK market whilst nearly everything on FTV TV is mired in SD picture quality and stereo sound, if you’re lucky. The inexorable move to streaming for high quality services, albeit subscription-based is the very forward, IMO. Linear TV, and the technology that supports it, has a finite life, I believe.

atsc 3.0 aimed at the US. Here all they need to do is switch off the bandwidth wasteing SD junk

A lot of the broadcast HD content in this country is still poor quality nevermind there only being a minuscule amount of 4K content being broadcast. I don't see the point in 8K in the UK at the moment.

Day 1 purchase. Cant wait to watch Dave on 4K UHD lol.
