New to this so might not be the right thread but here goes. Have tried to contact Denon but they dont get back to me and its quite a simple question really. I purchased a new Denon PMA-800NE AMP earlier this year which I am more than happy with. I have a large collection of old cassette tapes and have found several second hand Denon players ie the DRM-550 and 700 for sale. All I want to know is would any of these be compatible with my new AMP?

The 800 has recorder ins and outs so just plug the tape player into those

So it should work okay being a lot older? I dont want to spend on it and find that the AMP blows it or it just isnt compatible? I'm new to all of this so please excuse my ignorance lol

No reason why it wouldn't work.
