Hi All,

I wondered if anyone has sent the tv signal out of a Virgin Media Tivo box up to a roofbox distribution box in addition to the TV in the same room?

I've had a tv distribution box for years and never installed it, but as it can get a signal from a tv aerial, CCTV, sat dish and also a return from the living room (via coax), then send that signal around the house, I'd like to try and have that available to tv's in the house (I know it will be the same tv channel as in the living room, but as we have two TIVO boxes already, it's not too much trouble).

I can't seem to find a way of using either the scart socket on the TIVO and converting to COAX and sending up to the loft, or splitting the HDMI (One to the TV and the other converted to COAX to send up to the loft).

Any guidance would be appreciated.

You need a modulator, either an analogue type to connect to the scart, around £20; or a HDMI digital type, around £130.
