All,

I’ve ordered a Sony VPL-VW270ES primarily for 4K gaming however the website states; ‘Computer Input Signal Maximum display resolution: 1920 x 1080 dots (HDMI Input only)’. I’m concerned this projector won’t fulfil my requirements and may need to look for an alternative projector or an 85” TV instead.

Anyone able to comment please?

Thanks in anticipation.

P.S. I have an ASUS RTX2080 TI graphics card and works flawlessly when connected to my Sony 65” TV

Sorry a bit late on this but it works well with PS4 Pro and XBox One X via HDMI at 4K. It's got pretty good latency, I think around 17 ms.

Not sure if I have ever hooked up my gaming PC to this but I'm sure it would work for 4K via HDMI 2 on a decent NVidia or AMD card. I have a 2080 Ti and I feel like I may have connected it for playing some racing games, but it might have been back when I was using a 1080 Ti. Don't recall having any issues.
