I get this now on certain sites, any ideas?

This site can’t be reached
The webpage at might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR

No problem for me on chrome.

Have you tried another browser?

Then it sounds as though it's something on your pc settings that is doing this.

Try this:

  1. Select “Start“, and type “CMD
  2. Right-click “Command Prompt“, then choose “Run as Administrator“.
  3. Select “Yes” on the User Account Control box.
  4. From the command prompt, type the following:
    • netsh int ip reset
  5. , then press Enter

Restart your computer, then try to see if you can access the Internet and same site from chrome.

Let us know what happens.

Hmm can’t even connect to internet now. WiFi ok so think router is fine but pc won’t connect to internet. This was before I did the above task.

Flush the DNS Cache

Press Windows key and R together to bring up the Run box.
Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.

ok strange, laptop connects to router via ethernet and wifi ok, pc wont connect to router via either, wifi was flaky before on dell pc but the ethernet connects but says no internet access. Tried same cable for laptop and pc so thats fine, no issues in device manager.

Is there a system restore for pc that doesnt wipe all files and settings?

Yes there is. What OS are you using?

So your laptop is okay. What is the model number of the Dell PC?
