I have just had a new digital aerial put up to improve my freeview signal which is running through a new BT vision box.

All my channels are fine with the exception of channel 11 pick TV, which when I check the strength on the BT box is far too erratic, the quality goes from 0% to 100% and everything in between which makes for poor viewing...

Can anybody shed any light for me...

Is the box connected to the TV via an HDMI lead?

These can cause RF interference to one or more multiplex.

Incidentally - Assuming that your area has undergone the digital switch over then Pick TV is on the Com 5 multiplex and all these channels should be similarly affected:

Thanks for that,

So much for using HDMI to improve my picture!

I had thought it my have been the changes being made to some channels tommorow in the meridian area.

Anyway thanks for your help and advice...

Sorry, That's my fault for writing that, the old aerial had actually broke!

You can prove if the HDMI lead is the problem or not by connecting temporarily by scart only ( disconnect the HDMI altogether)... and see if the problem goes away.

If it does then you need a different HDMI lead. Any cheap lead will do.

Also , keep the RF leads as far away as possible from the HDMI lead.
