I previously posted the music video, who knew then it was actually a mockumentary o_O

Now I've watched the trailer, I don't need to watch the movie. Another example of a trailer which shows too much.

I just watched this as it has debuted on Netflix.

Honestly, if you don't like Will Ferrell films at all you won't like this.

The movie is definitely too long, clocking in at just shy of 2 hours, also a lot of the humour is very obvious (I realise people will say that's Ferrell but he can do wit and clever dialog).

However, I would still say give it watch. Dan Stevens is brilliant as the Russian performer and I liked the music and musical numbers and it still has a few chuckles to be had throughout. 6/10.

An enjoyable Nordic tale.I Like Will Ferrell. so found it watchable, ex 007 was a grump, loads of cameos, Dan Stevens is fun, Ferrell had more curves than Demi Lovato :D 6.6/10

The film itself is a little so-so (and borrows heavily from a certain Father Ted episode). And yes, the trailer does have the best bits unfortunately.

Still, it's worth a watch. And this song was just awesome.
