F1 British GP (Race 1) 31st July - 2nd Aug '20

Not that I'm judging (well, perhaps a little bit) but it doesn't take a genius to join the dots to see what might have gone wrong...

TLDR - "Perez tested positive on Thursday and revealed he flew back to Mexico after the previous race in Hungary to visit his mother, who had been in hospital."

My snark is based upon absolutely no cast iron evidence. :rotfl:

Great Q1 pole lap by lewis , now if they can just zip his trap shut and tie his hands behind his back when not on track.

Perhaps tie his hands behind his back on track as well to give others a chance?

Stopped watching now - was there any more news about a possible penalty for Russell?

Seems everyone has gone backwards as far as design if the Bulls are slower than last year (exception Tracing Point and Mercedes)

Well yup may help others out :D . Lewis ( mostly ) does have that ability to deliver when needed at the right time , Q3 nailed it once again . Its uncanny .

Doubt I could stand more than two minutes in his company but just love what he delivers on track and keeps improving.

Well ferrari and indeed teams with the Ferrari PU ain't got that cheat stick they had in the first half of 2019 , all Ferrarri PU down on power . The RB seems to be the aerodynamic package this season as looks a tricky bugger .Mclaren, Renult and Williams have made substantial gains over last season

Has any comment been made about the secondary mask Lando has started wearing this weekend ?

As for quali. Normal service. Fortunately 4 down could be quite interesting race wise

Albon should remember Red Bull has form for changing drivers mid season  :D

Nothing on BBC or Planet F1. His Twitter page also refers to achieving Q2. Assume the stewards have gone for ice cream or no further action?

5 place pen, so last

Five place grid penalty for Russel and three points , stewards not happy that he was not told to abort lap by his crew .

Yes, why?

That corner was wide enough, should not have squeezed the inside car. Self inflicted damage
Race over for Hulkenberg already?!
A shame

Stupid stupid Mercedes. Why didn't they pit earlier with such a lead.

Three wheels on my wagon!

Pirelli's popping livened up the end of the race to be fair

Thought it was decent until Grosjean got to the back of that midfield train

Should have pitted Botas on lap 44, would have had the distance to get back at Verstappen.

Not really missed seeing the crowds of spectators until now. Their reaction in the closing stages would have been epic/off the scale.

Yep. Certain tracks you don't really miss it but Silverstone is one of the few races where you can hear the crowd over the cars.

Once max went in to get the point they should have covered him off. They will next time
