Picture quality was great and the difference to a disc would be pretty much negligible.
Thanks for putting this on my radar.
Watched it 4 days ago ( on my hard drive now ) . Just a good entertaining film . Just waiting now for the second season of Das Boot ( new updated series to become available ) First season was good
I don't have or ever will subscribe to sky ( so no idea if it is or was on sky ) . I read somewhere about a continuation of the original TV series being made in Germany .. I "found "the complete season one and watched it .. Had no idea there was a second season ( again had to search ) just waiting for that season to end , so that I can watch one episode after another .. I hate waiting 7 days etc to watch another episode etc . I personally think it enhances the original series .Do you mean on Sky or somewhere else. Das Boot Season 2 has been on Sky for a couple of months now.
Cheers,
Nigel

I enjoyed this one. It does exactly what it says on the tin
I'm much more interested in the upcoming Spielberg/Hanks Apple TV+ miniseries Masters Of the Air. A spiritual successor to Band Of Brothers and The Pacific.
I guess the UK Government will be buying that up after shooting is finished as a base for the new, highly secret "Retro" squadron, which will "Significantly enhance and expand the range and capabilities of our present force".
That sounds very promising! Might be enough for me to sign up to Apple TV, a single Greyhound movie sure as hell wasn't!
