My Panasonic TV only has 2 HDMI sockets, one's dedicated to ARC, so I need a HDMI switch to connect the Technomate 5402 and Sagemcom DTR6400T PVR to it.
I bought a 3 to 1 cable(https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HDMI-Cab...Adapter-Converter-3-In-1-Out-Splitter-HD-2160) but this doesn't work. The PVR won't boot when it's connected to the HDMI splitter (probably senses another source is attached). Can anyone recommend a switch that will work? Preferably a mechanical one (is there such a thing, I thought they died with SCARTs).
Are these any good?(https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hdmi-3-P...er-Splitter-Selector-HUB-Box-Cable-HDTV-2160P) or are they just a re-boxed version of the first one?

Good to know. Did you gather that just from looking at the picture, or does it mention that on the product’s description? Thanks.

Both Ebay links broken.

Links didn't work for me either but I cut the main parts of the description and searched ebay. If I found the right things then the second one is a small square one with button in one corner is that right? If so I've been using a very similar one for years with no problems but I'm only using 1080p or less. I've used it with Sky HD, Youview PVR, Roku stick, Blu ray player and a PC with no issues. The only trouble I have had is some things such as the Sky/Youview boxes and Roku will output some sort of signal even when in standby which causes problems with auto switching but you can still switch using the button with no problems.

This is the full link:E8C0 3x1 3 Port 1080P HD TV 3D Compact Auto HDMI Switch Hub Splitter Adapter | eBay
Now reduced to 99p. I complained and got a refund (and kept the switch).
This is the other one:4K*2K 2160P HDMI 3 Port Switch Switcher Selector Splitter HUB Box HDTV Xbox | eBay
I might try it and see if it works. If it doesn't I'll start collecting HDMI switchgear!

Sad to say that switch didn't work either, so I sent it back. Must be something about the Sagemcom HDMI connection that's not compliant.
