I think I'm over complicating here what should be a simple task.
I've got a 1TB external WD drive attached to a 500gb launch PS4 - everything still works OK. I want to replace that 1TB WD with a 4TB Seagate Drive. I've used 332.2 GB/408.50GB on the built in drive and I've used 502.7GB/918.4GB on the external WD digital drive.
What's really 'baking my noodle' in true spoon bending style is how do I replace the external drive without losing anything important? Looking around on the t'internet my understanding is I can't use 2 external drives at the same time on the PS4. I'm scratching my head as to how I can move the data from the 1TB WD to the 4TB Seagate Drive?
I would only want to keep the Seagate after making the transfer. Answers on a postcard please....
