I am very close to buying a LG C9 65" from Best Buy. Probably waiting to see if there's another price drop around Super Bowl time. Anyone with any input on if it's worth getting a 2 or 5 year Best Buy Warranty? I know you get a 1 yr manufacturers warranty automatically. Dunno, this is a UK focussed site so I'm not sure many members will have experience of Best Buy warranties. There might be one or two members who do though.

The Best Buy warranty is the only one I know of that covers Burn-in (even LG's own warranty will not cover it). If you get Burn-in within the warranty period, they will either replace the TV (if it is still available) or give you credit to put towards another TV (keep in mind you only one get one replacement, then the warranty is void, or so I have heard). So, if you're concerned about Burn-in, it may be worth the extra $. If not, you shouldn't need it.
