Has anyone else experience an issue with only being able to have the Atmos track play with Netflix films, but when using external device it doesn't? I have a Samsung Q90R soundbar, and if I am playing a Netflix film it locks in Atmos, not allowing me to change the sound mode. However, I know I have two Dolby Atmos movies on an external drive and it doesn't recognize it as Atmos. I then added it to Plex hoping that would help but it still does not present an Atmos option, only adaptive, surround sound, etc options.
I do get a "this video does not support audio" warning message (for WD Passport, not on Plex) but I can't imagine that being the issue that's blocking Atmos from playing. Curious if someone has a few suggestions I could try,
It does play TrueHD 7.1 and shows HDR in the top right of the screen. Just not seeing the Dolby Atmos flash across the soundbar screen.
