Finally got round to watching the final Blade movie in the trilogy.

That's a film that I really enjoy, others absolutely hate it. True true.

To be honest she hasn't said either way, although she did say previously that she couldn't see any noticeable difference when we moved from an SD TV to an HD one. The ceiling she did think I was being brave doing and she be right. One strip up on the ceiling and that was not easy.
I may start a thread, although my photos just don't come out that well to showpiece the work or do it justice.
You may be able to make out in my previous picture that annoyingly, the black fabric of the GIK acoustic panels along the walls and bass tri traps, now look grey against the flock. I might have to cover them as well now, its becoming infectious!
Thanks, yes absolutely and in addition it just wouldn’t stick well to the GIK fabric. For those very reasons I am going the route of Devore for the acoustic panels.I doubt the flock is acoustically transparent, so wouldn't it negate the effect of the room treatments?
Makes absolute sense! Off topic I know but how have you found the GIK panels and bass traps? Have they had a noticeable effect on the sound quality? Were they easy to fit? Thanks, yes absolutely and in addition it just wouldn’t stick well to the GIK fabric. For those very reasons I am going the route of Devore for the acoustic panels.

Absolutely, the 7 acoustic panels stopped reflections and the Bass tri traps should improve the bass, although I have no mechanism to measure this. The tri traps are free standing and the acoustic panels are hung like pictures. They are not cheap as DIY panels and there are plenty of videos around to help you if you want to go down that route.Makes absolute sense! Thanks, could you actually hear a difference in sound quality though? Did you bother to do the ceiling too?Absolutely, the 7 acoustic panels stopped reflections and the Bass tri traps should improve the bass, although I have no mechanism to measure this. Yes, to me more focussed and less muddy due to the lack of reflection. I have not treated the ceiling to date, not sure that I really want to. Happy with it as is and getting on with flocking the ceiling which is not the easiest, but well worth the effort! Thanks, could you actually hear a difference in sound quality though? OK, sounds worth it. Night and day difference or subtle? For example I found the room EQ from an Antimode to be night and day....Yes, to me more focussed and less muddy due to the lack of reflection. Yeah I reckon so.So are these three worth watching?
Sorry for double posting but your photos make me really wonder if I did the right thing going for x7900.
