NEWS: Pro-Ject launches The Classic Evo turntable in UK

Just before this item was posted I measured the Wow and Flutter and speed accuracy of my 1979 Trio KD1033 Belt drive deck. I used the RPM speed and wow Ap on Android. I put my phone over the centre spindle using a round plastic container. This was to minimise any centrifugal effects caused by just placing the phone on the turntable mat.

I measured 0.1% wow and flutter @33rpm and 0.13% at 45rpm. The results were quoted as 2sigma not rms. Look at the technical details of the above Project turntable! The original 1979 spec for the Trio was 0.06% W&F rms.

The only attention the Trio has had is the odd new belt and a drop of oil in the motor and centre spindle bearing.
