Hi, someone experienced rs232 control on the latests Oppo?

I'm using an old (but gold..) Nevo S70 + Nevo Connect remote and i'm controlling, with no issues, with an Ada Suite 7.1HD, an JVC DLA-X70 (both with hex serial command) and one Denon DBT-3313UD (in ascii serial).
Now i'm tryng to control my UPD-203 without success

reading the original Oppo rs232 manual:

http://download.oppodigital.com/UDP2...l_Protocol.pdf

control must be something like:

#POW <CR><LF> (on Denon Bluray, as example, same working command is: KYPW ON<CR>)

or

0x23 POW 0x20 0x0d 0x0a

but both are not working.
Any help/suggestion/working command will be really appreciated.
Thanks

Are you using a ‘straight through’ cable to connect to the Oppo? It won’t won’t on null modem cable.

Thanks for your reply,

I have compared the connections between Oppo and the working Denon serials and are the same (standard pinout)

Ok. I will dig out the code I use and share it later.

Great. So it does require a line break at the end. That was my suspicion. My Lyngdorf is the same yet the manual doesn’t state it.

Can I get a couple of clarifications.

I have a MP-60 Lyngdorf should program similar to MP-50.
Have a Nevo Q50 trying to define MP-60 to it. Do I need a null cable or not? MP-50 manual says yes but not sure if Nevo gets around this some way.

Also:
example in manual for MP-50 volume up is !VOL<CR>
says in manual it’s suppose to be in ASCII
so what value would I enter In Nevo Q50?

thanks
