In a dilemma which player to buy, what are your thoughts ?

thanks.

No, the UB900.

Another vote for the UB820 here.

Depends what you features you need. If you want or might want Dolby Vision or HDR10+ then the 820 is what you need. Or if you're connecting to a projector and want the extra HDR configuration features then 820 should be better for you.

If you don't need those then the 900 will serve you well; better build quality, quieter drive and backlit remote. A little slower to respond but never let me down when playing discs and picture is great (at least to my eyes).

Price -v- features I guess.

820 IMO

820 all the way, coming from a 900.

UP900 hands down, is better built, better power supply, and has better sound quality. Has IEC input so you can use a much better power cord that improves sound quality. 900 has Dolby Vision, but most of us have that on our TV's now days. Quality counts, the 900 is better.
