Philips 9100 Series, 55PUS9104/12 Georg Jenson Design 4K UHD LED Android TV with Ambilight 3 Sided.

This TV was purchased in July 2020 and has the balance of the Philips 2-Year Guarantee until July 2022. It has had just about two months use and is in MINT, AS NEW condition and is supplied with both remotes (both unused as I have used a universal remote), video cables, printed copy of the full manual and a copy of my original purchase receipt.

TV has been used in a smoke and pet-free household and there are no marks, stains or any damage whatsoever. Reason for sale is I have been offered another TV at an amazing price and I just can't say no!!! (LOL)

This 55PUS9104 was the top of the range Philips LCD (LED) TV from 2019. It has Freeview HD, plus two satellite connectors (not Freesat enabled). It is also the only Philips LED TV from 2019 or 2020 that has a 120Hz IPS Panel. Picture Performance Index (PPI) is 2900. The picture is stunning. Movement is fluid and the viewing angles are excellent. Black levels are much better that you would expect with an IPS screen. It supports HLG, HDR10 and HDR10+.

Collection from Street, Somerset by arrangement (BA16). Cash or instant Bank Transfer upon collection.

Price: £675.00

Hi. Sorry for late response. I’ve been away for a few days. I will have a think and let you know on Friday.

Hi. I've had a good think (and the important chat with the wife) and to be honest, £500 is the rock bottom as we paid £950 for it in July!!! To get to Taunton Services (North), I would have to go to junction 26 and then back up to the servces, so that is about 64 miles round trip.

Completely understandable! As I said it was a bit of a whim purchase so I will leave it for now, however I am sure someone will snap it up 👍

Hi. Very sorry but I have only just noticed your reply. I had all but given up!
My new tv is arriving today, so the 9104 has to go. Saying that though, I would find somewhere to store it if I couldn’t get £500 for it.
How far up the M5 are you?
Regards
Tim

Hi Adam.
Yes, I still have it. I've removed it from Gumtree and ebay as getting too many daft questions. The listing on ebay stated collection from Street, Somerset. One guy asked twice if it meant it had to be collected from the street and virtually accused me of being a conman?!?
I don't understand the lack of interest though. It is a 100Hz TV with a PPI of 2900, far better than any Philips 2020 LED TV!
The TV I bought to replace the 9104 is a Philips 55PUS9435. A 2020 model with 50Hz panel and PPI of 2400. It didn't get near the 9104 on picture quality, so it went back!
I'm a fussy sod when it comes to my main TV.
What have you been looking at? The 9104 is a good TV.
I'm now considering the Philips 55oled935 as the new anti burn in technology it has looks good. Its due out now, but hefty at two grand. Will probably wait until Black Friday.
The 9104 is still available, but at £500 minimum. I would prefer it to be collected for both buyer and seller peace of mind.
Regards,
Tim

Hi Tim,

People are insane, I try and avoid eBay / gumtree / Facebook wherever possible!

I've been looking at the Sony range but 2019 are now out of circulation and 2020 are crazy expensive and I am just going in circles!
I'm willing to meet you at £500 if we could meet around Taunton, appreciate the services might be a PITA but could meet just off J25 as there is the big retail park there?

Junction 25 would be okay for me. There is, as you say, a large retail park there. If you are happy to buy unseen working of course. I couldn't make it until Friday at the earliest as thats my next day off.
I have to go out now, but will be able to respond to any further messages when I get home around 9pm.

Hi Tim,

that’s agreeable to me, Friday is also my next free time, save late one evening, so that would work well . Unfortunately I don’t have the time for a full round trip to you so I’ll take it in good faith it’s all working etc, just the same as if it was being shipped I guess!

Hi. I could video the tv working on Thursday evening with my phone. I can assure you it’s as new and in perfect order. I would be willing to meet you at junction 25 with an agreed price of £500. How would you pay? Cash would be preferable. I could meet you at 11am, probably best in the cinema car park. If you are happy with this, we can go to private message to swap contact details.
Regards,
Tim

Hi Tim,

Meeting by the cinema should be fine if the car park is open! Plenty of places around there though.
Honestly don’t worry about getting it all set up, I’m sure it’s absolutely fine.
Cash would be a problem for me as I would struggle to get out to get that much before Friday as it would require two trips.
Could we do a simple bank transfer on meet up? Appreciate there is a slight risk with faster payments not going through but hopefully minor

Morning Adam,
A bank transfer would be okay. If 11am this Friday (9th) is okay for you, then that’s a deal. Once you have agreed we can go to private message. Many thanks.
Tim
