After Ed recounted a story in Podcast Ep 299 (@25:45) whereby a Bang & Olufsen TV remote was buried in the back garden by a friend's dog - during winter - only to be discovered working perfectly a week later once the pilfering pet had dug it back up, we wondered, what are the most indestructible pieces of photography kit AVForums members own?

And just exactly what were the circumstances that led to the discovery of its sturdiness?!

Fire away, we'd love to hear your stories - and maybe some accompanying images!

My 2011 Leica M9-P, always in my bag, 33,000 shutter actions, had a sensor replacement for free, brass showing through had been looked after but used. Nothing to fault, been wet when its not waterproof. Still love it for colour and image quality. Nice to have something built to last that looks great with age

Giottos rocket air blower. Years of use and abuse, the kids play with it and it still comes back perfect :) Maybe not the kit you were expecting?!
