Thanks for the confirmation on the foam wrapping....to be honest l am going to wait on the reply of Audio Emotion before l make a decision on what i'll doMine was like that, just wrapped around it.
I've already sent mine back. I tried contacting Pioneer before Christmas and they just didn't answer their telephones. I emailed them, no reply. Then as of last Monday they'd clearly shut down for Christmas as I went straight through to a German answering machine.
My unit bricked when updating and I wanted to ask about this. If a company isn't prepared to support their product, then I'm not prepared to support that company.
My experience of Pioneer's customer service, or lack of, means I'm no longer interested in the LX500 either.
I'll wait for the refund and see what's announced at CES.
i also tried to perform a factory reset by pressing the power/ok button simultaneously and it wouldnt do it....
