And another excellent, balanced review Cas,thank you!
I guess if this one is worth the upgrade, the others are more so.

The worst bond movie ever. 1/10, With atrocious editing every second a cut even people talking it cuts away a second at a time. a complete headache. This should be shown in film school on how not to edit a movie.

Thanks again Cas.

Best watched straight after Casino Royale for full effect but yep that editing is pretty annoying!

The edit is horrible, but I still prefer this to the last two films. It's pretty short and rattles along. Worst Bond ever though? Die Another Day surely!

I love Bond movies, but this one was a bit of a dud. Couldn't score it more than a generous 5 or 6/10.

8? I’ve only seen this once and remember it being an absolute turkey thinking it was the worst bond movie I’d ever seen!!

maybe I should give it another go, although I think you’re being generous Cas with some of these reviews, 10 for Casino Royale???

Yup, love Casino Royale, one of my favourite ever Bonds (alongside Spy Who Loved Me). And Quantum was a terrible Bond film, but a fabulous extended-action-chase-scene end to Casino Royale; watched back to back, I think it's pretty superb, and is a textbook continuation of the story. Unlike what they did with Spectre, which is a textbook example of how not to retrofit a pre-existing story.

QoS is by far the most underrated bond for me...i loved it at the cinema, loved it on blu..... but oddly... havent gone back to it as often as other 007 movies... think it just doesnt have a huge amount of re-watchability (is that even a word!?).
