Smart camera

I am planning on buying smart indoor security camera TP-LINK Tapo C100. This camera records when it detects motion.

Would this camera work since it starts recording if it detects movement. I would put it on a window shelf and the camera would look through the window and open blinds.

Would this work?

In short, no, very unlikely and certainly not reliably. Putting cameras inside to monitor outside typically will not yield very good results due to the reflection from the glass. You might get away with it during the day but will be useless at night.
