Hello,
I have a sony amplifier here, which in combination with a sony CDP-315 cd player is so loud that most of the time I don't turn the volume past 1. This means I effectively have very little resolution on the volume level. I thought I could make this better by adjusting the input level on the amplifier, so I could turn the volume knob further without shattering my ears. However, I can not find such a setting. There is an option on the remote of the CD player to adjust line out volume, but this does not work (I believe the remote is not the original one). Any ideas?
Thanks!
