hi folks
I have a 5.5 metre wide x 4.5m deep living room with high vaulted ceiling (probably 4 metres high) and am trying to figure out where I should place speakers for surround sound / if it will work. Options are:
1) place 4 speakers (2 on each side) on the angle ceiling pointing towards the centre of the floor. These would be just above the wall where you see the rafters in the image below. Also place two speakers on the room side of the white steel beam pointing into the room. Then maybe have 2 lower speakers sitting on low table to each side of chimney. And maybe 1 to each corner.
2) Put a sound bar above the tv (you’ll notice I already have a recess in the wall for a 55-60 inch tv so there is no room below it)
Grateful for some advice on whether either option is viable as I’m struggling and wiring is due to complete soon.
Note: Cabling will run back to a comms room about 14 metres away.
