Looking for some advice...
I have a MJ Acoustics 50 MKII Active Sub that was working via my TV Sub RCA output.

It has since stopped working, i tried a new cable, power on and off, disconnect, reconnect and check tv sub settings. If i remove the RCA from the Sub, it makes a noise. Sub amp is lit up and i tried the high level which works.

Do you think it is the low level on theSub that is faulty?

It could be the output from the TV that has the problem. I'd try connecting the sub to a different audio source to find out. There is no problem with using a full frequency range signal rather than one specifically for a sub. Turn the sub off before disconnecting or connecting any cables, and start with the sub gain/volume on minimum and turn it up to see if you get sound. This way you won't inadvertently play anything too loud.

Thanks for the reply.
So i could try one side of the TV’s RCA audio out to the Sub’s low level?

Yes. Although if it doesn't work I'd try a different device too as you're trying to establish if the problem is with the TV or the sub.
