Hi Folks

Got a new table TV stand yesterday off of Amazon, it’s to raise my TV up so I can fit my MA Bronze Centre Speaker underneath it and give me a better viewing angle and better sound, which it already has... trouble is the stand is on its highest lift setting, it’s just not high enough and my speaker is still obstructing the bottom of the TV and the IR Sensor for the Remote Control

My TV is a Panasonic TX-55CX802B, it uses VESA 400 x 400 size holes, it weighs 25kg in total

The trouble I’m having is that no stand anywhere lists the distance left between the bottom of the TV and the bottom of the actual TV stand, I need a minimum distance of 7” - 8” (18 - 20cm) to fit my MA Bronze underneath the TV

here’s some pics and you’ll see my issue

has anyone got a similar TV stand and a 55” TV or bigger and have at least this required distance or more left?
Driving me insane as I can’t keep ordering stands off of Amazon 🙄

I don’t want a floor stand type, only a table stand but there has to be one that goes a bit higher..
Other than that I’m very pleased with it😊

Here is my exact stand and the pictures of it setup

TVs have different vertical dimensions and have their mounting points at different heights so it's not very meaningful to measure from the bottom of a 55" TV as it'll be different for other models.

The measurement you're looking for is from the mounting holes to the surface it's sat on, then you can work out the clearance on your particular TV.

Depending on the design they may also give mounting point center to surface.

Generally you'd expect stands for larger TVs to handle more height so if you can't find that information on a budget stand then go for the one that handles the largest TVs rather than one that only goes up to 55".

Okay cheers

Then I would need at least 36 to 37 centimetres distance between the lowest VESA hole that id be using to the base of the stand

Would the soundbar fit on the shelf underneath?

Yes. That is where it was before but it’s too low..
The sound is then the level of my shins
Everybody on here has told me to get the centre speaker higher

Could you not just fashion something/riser to sit the tv mount on to raise it up above the level of the speaker? You won't see it with it being behind centre speaker so doesn't need to be anything pretty.

Yeah was looking at them mate

But my TV and it’s current stand weigh a fair bit at 25kg

I even just rang a glass supplier AND Travis Perkins, no bugger can supply me a bit of glass or wood to those or even close measurements - what is this world coming to??

9cm in height minimum
48cm in width minimum
26cm in depth (approximately)

I purchased the exact same stand to raise my 55" Samsung above my Q Acoustics 3090c and was disappointed with the max height. I chose it over the glass based versions due to horror stories of them shattering.

I sit that close, as my setup is in the spare room, that angling the front of my speaker up lowered the rear a little and meant none of the screen was obscured from where I sit. An added bonus is it now points towards my ears! Looking at your sig, I assume you replaced the Q's with the Monitor Audios? MA Bronze is 15mm higher than the 3090c, I only had a few mm of my screen obscured. My solution wouldn't even have worked for me if I sat a little further back as the raised front would then obscure the screen.

That's nuts that a builders merchant couldn't supply you with a slab of wood with those dimensions. Could they even supply you with one length e.g. 96x26x5cm, cut it in half and screw them together? If going the slab of wood underneath route, I would use some of this between the wood and your cabinet too:

DAY 2 OF STAND GATE 🙄

Finally.. I’ve sorted it!😂

So the £30 stand in the previous pictures that wouldn’t go high enough on my 55” TV for the centre speaker to fit under, I decided to use that in the bedroom with my old 48” Samsung UE48H6400, it’s much better and looks great!
No bad neck anymore

I then ordered another stand today for £50 off Amazon and set that up today with my 55” Panasonic in the living room... much much better and no issues now...
I’ve slightly angled up my centre speaker a bit more.. does that look okay? 🤔

It means I’ve got a space underneath the centre speaker to buy someat else 🤣🤣🤣

This stand is highly recommended

My only concern is that even though the new TV stand is tightened up securely as per instructions... my imagination is saying it’s leaning forward at the top but probably the shape of the TV... I’m probably stressing too much.... all the stands reviews are positive and pictures of other people’s are good.... then I saw this but hey ho... stop it Wayne!!🤣🤣😂😂
