The beer lovers thread...

Currently drinking this. Malty Vinous sweetness. Citrus peel. Grapefruit. Pine resins. The finish is astringent and zesty. Bottle condition so needs careful pouring if you don't like a cloudy beer. I like it and go out of my way to pour out the sediment. Looks nicer and tastes better I think. AND it was only 99p from Home Bargains.

Couldn’t agree more, have you tried the been canned Hazy Jane yet?
Yes. I thought it was more restrained than the Brewdog Vs Cloudwater.

Hazy Jane: I got Mango & Pineapple. Citrus peel. Caramel sweetness. Passion fruit. The finish is piney and sweet. Quality and good but the collaboration was better.

Having this now. Orange peel. Ginger. Soft fruit sweetness. Pine resins. The finish is resinous, with some sweetness and a little harsh. You can also taste the alchohol. I've tried they're 'Mosaic' which was real quality. This is just OK.

Wasn’t overly fond of the Mothership one. It just tasted bland to me.

Have some Brewdog x Cloudwater in for tomorrow, alongside a couple of Duvels.

One slight issue for me with these new ones is cost - £3/440ml is rich. I can get four Duvel for £6 and some don’t even come close.

The second time I've tried this. Biscuit malts. Bready. There's some caramel sweetness. Herbal notes/sap. The finish is sappy bitter and sweet. I like it as much as the first try. 3.25 out of 5. I'm not sure what a Munchen lager is is but if they mean a pilsner then this is more of a Bock than a lager.

That's enormous! Haven't tried this one yet--

This was surprisingly good. Nice tartness but sweet at the same time.

Had it alongside two bottles of Duvel. Been a decent evening.

The blurb - A deep mahogany beer with rich toffee apple and roasted chocolate aromas.

It's dark!

Enjoying some Camden Hells this evening. It is really rather better than most lagers out there.

Had a hankering for juicy NEIPA this weekend and finally, finally my local Co-op had Brew Dog East Coast Crush (4.8%) in stock 8 x 330 ml cans for £10.00, and it’s an absolute belter.

Dank, chewy and a little sediment to finish ff if you are into that kind of thing.

Next up is another Brewdog, this time it’s Hazy Jane 440ml at 7.2% (£3.00 from Tesco)

Two different taste profiles and difficult to choose a favourite

Enjoying some Kwak right now, in France. This bottle was €5!

My local Tesco has finally gotten its act together. I'm now able to sample some of what everyone else has been drinking for the last 6 months.

Totally jealous of a lot of the beers in this thread recently. I’ve not posted for a while. Been mostly drinking red wine.
Got a few beers I should post up. Been using untappd to track them all.

Enjoying this right now. €4 for this 750ml bottle in France. Have same size Duvel to follow this up.
