For those of you that take any sort of energy drinks on rides with you, B&M have these on offer at the moment for £2.50 per tube (20tabs).....apparent RRP is £6.99.

They are great as sugar-free so no sticky residue....trying the Pink Grapefruit one now and its nice...will report back on Tropical one shortly

I don't think I ever pay more than £3.49 from wiggle. I actually have the pink grapefruit ones on the go at the moment, as well as the cherry & orange and citrus. :D

Thought I’d post these pics here than reply on the purchases thread

really , really simple to use . My roof is fairly curved and the suckers clamped onto it no problem. They are - not coming off.

really quick to put on and take off .

Slight lift at 201mph, but is still on :D

Very nice :)

Had some play in my forks on the canyon, so decided to rectify today. Took stem and bars off to remove forks and check all bearing were seated properly and realign headset bearing and in trying to remove the stem, gave it a yank and the Di2 cables that were under the bar tape, ripped the bar tape.:mad:

So once I put it all back together and cleaned up the excess grease, had to bodge a repair of the bar tape. Hopefully it’ll last a while! I don’t fancy redoing the whole bar tape!

nice wheels.. ;)

since the front wheel has to be removed, then i think i initially try and get the bike in my car (will also have to remove the front wheel) and see how i get on, but looks a decent solution..

Headed over to Danbury for my first ride there in 4 or 5 weeks

All going to plan until 2 minutes before arriving when I remembered I’d left my front wheel in my garage at home 25 miles away 🤦🏻‍♂️

So turned around and headed home and then one guy that wasn’t riding today text and said I could use his bike so ended up only being short a few miles in end and had a good ride overall.

got back home to discover I had some very loose spikes on my back wheel so need to true the wheel up before I ride next time, shouldn’t take too long.

Bought my scooter with “ pre inserted puncture sealant “ which didn’t work when I got a puncture ( 1 month ago ) as it just leaked out
So got some slime from Halfords and it fixed it instantly

Today some of the old slime ( not the stuff I put in ) was leaking out the side of the valve where you pump it up and I got a flat tyre

So before attempting to change the innertube I tried pumping the tyre up and it pumped up fine without any punctures

Any idea what happened ?

It’s not airtight and maybe the sealant has now plugged the small gap, or it could be the valve has moved ever so slightly and upset the sealant and by you pumping it up again and moving the valve and it’s corrected it.

IMX with tubeless you just get some anomalies sometimes.
I had a set of hard pack tyres seated first time no issues and stayed up for months, swapped them out for muds and after winter put the hard pack tyres on again and they’d go down after a few days and I never could get them to stay up, and this was on stans rims. Same with valves, like yours leaked and would go down then suddenly voila they stay up. its the ‘joys’ and ‘mysteries’ of tubeless. This was mainly my cross tyres, I do find my road and mtb are more consistent.

I’m in a right old mare choosing some road glasses, either through actually choosing or stock availability.
Any recommendations?

I guess that depends on your budget?

I have used these Oakley Jawbreakers for the last couple of years, although I have been looking at Flight Jackets as an 'upgrade'.

The Prizm lenses are superb.

Budget not a massive issue as will be getting for birthday. I recently ordered a pair of EVZero blades. They look great but not sure if they are big enough.
All the jawbreakers I want are out of stock. The Flight Jackets are nice, but do look huge. Not sure of the cost increase over the Jawbreakers either. I want the Jade lens and its either not discounted at all or out of stock.

I don't think the Flight Jackets are necessarily any bigger than the Jawbreakers, the lens now extends up to where the frame would have been and maybe makes them look bigger.

Could you not buy a pair in the frame color you want, then buy the jade lens separately?

The lens is about £80, so would make them even more expensive. I'll just wait for stock. Was just thinking about other brands to consider as well.

You know you’re hardcore when....

There are a million action cams on amazon that will fulfill the purpose. I picked up a 4k Campark one for about £40. Kids loved using underwater on holiday.

cheers, will check that out too... as I'm not sure about the dashcams battery life either..
