After Aldershot's narrow but disappointing 3-4 defeat at Bromley (where technically we could have played at Bristol Rovers this round), the draw for the first round proper was just made with Chichester, the lowest ranked team, bagging a bye into round 2 and a 36k windfall to boot!

Tonight I will be at the Poole v Hayes replay to offer Dolphins my support.

Never been there before, won't know where the home end is, where the bar is - makes going to a new place all the more exciting.

I'll do a full report on my blog tomorrow. If Poole win they will be at home to Oxford United in the first rand proppa!

Well Poole Town was certainly quite a night, what with two floodlight failures!

That's Hayes and Yeading home to Oxford then - I doubt Oxford will be troubled by Hayes from what I saw.

FA Cup third round: Tony Adams and Micah Richards to conduct live draw on BBC Two. The FA Cup third-round draw will be live on BBC Two on Monday, 2 December, from 19:00-19:30 GMT. Holders Manchester City and record 13-time winners Arsenal are involved as Premier League and Championship clubs enter at this stage.

We got a premier league team away from home .... rubbish !!! Some won’t be happy with that

Wolves v Man U

Liverpool v Everton!!

It’s a fix

Was hoping for an easy draw.

Got exactly that:D

It is a fix. City at home to Port Vale

Spurs going out to Middlesborough. #MourinhoOut

Leeds knocking Arsenal out as well.

@PatMrex head will have exploded with that draw

Klopp will be fuming. He will actually have to send a team out to try and win. It's a conspiracy :)

Balls to that. It's only Everton at home, he'll be sending the kids out and giving Adrian a game.

Edit: the kids and Milner I meant

Yep they fix every draw.

In fairness if you can afford to do it then why not. City have already ruined football in general along with Christmas, thanksgiving and hannukah so might as well add this to the mix

We even got an easy draw in the final last year as well. All that way and then we draw Watford , how lucky are we??

Wolves again, bring it on!

Quite a draw wasn't it. Leeds v Arsenal 1972 and all that, Mick Jones broken arm, them were the days.

And a Merseyside derby!

Some tasty games for sure.

Are the 3rd round games always in the new year? Seems like a late start to me.
