So a friend of mine has offered me £450 for my Gigabyte GTX 1080 ti. My initial thought was no. However, I was thinking are 2070 Supers around £450-£500? Going from benchmarks on the internet. There is not much difference between the 2 when it comes to fps. Some titles the 2070 super wins some the 1080 ti wins.

But the 2070 super supports ray tracing and what I have seen of dlss 2.0 has impressed me. So am asking for some opinions of you was in my shoes would you trade a 1080ti for a 2070 Super?

Now is a slightly difficult time with the RTX 3xxx series expected by the end of the year.

Personally I'd sell it for that price, but I might be tempted to splurge on a RTX 2080 Super - or hold off on purchasing a proper replacement for a few months and see what new goodies nvidia or AMD come out with (it'll either cause a price cut on existing models or mean more for the money). The new warranty on either option would be attractive to me (graphics cards are about the only components I ever have fail on me!).
