I have managed to get a few coupon codes for the WD Store from support and they are not supposed to stack but they do so on a 6tb red drive normally £195 on the store (£180 on amazon) is going through at £109
It's applying a 30% discount on the £195 total bringing it down to £136 then applying a further 20% on that price

I think it's a single use code so i don't want to waste it, I only really want one 6TB Red drive and i don't want the code to go to waste, i'm debating if i even need it.

Is there any other good bargains i could order on the store that i could potentially sell for small profit?

It will only let me use it on a maximum of 2 items and they can both be the same product, see pictures for example of carts

EDIT: These are not specific to my account and i don't need anything so i'll be looking to sell , i have put up a for sale thread should anyone want anything

Would anyone buy a WD My Passport Portable SSD 2 TB for £407? it's £507 on amazon

Thinking of stuff that i could easily sell on without any hassle..

A few more options, would anyone be interested in either:

WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra 8TB's £310. Currently £398 on amazon?

20TB MY Book Duo £450. currently £550 on amazon

RAID 0 out of the box, hopefully nothing will go wrong with either drive .....

I gave my dad one of them and he's running it in RAID 0 just now. It should be fine, the performance is worth it IMO. I've personally never had a hard drive fail and I've owned over 20 WD Red drives + lots of others

The other myBook Duo is up for sale on these forums should anyone want a good discount

Ok good luck with that one. I personally would have opted for jbod on it that way you still have the same capacity but at least would only lose half the data.

If you lose one drive then you are toast in raid 0. The standard drives should be quick enough.

Just because you haven't lost a drive doesn't mean he won't, please make sure he has a backup...

There's a fairly high chance that even in a JBOD, in an appliance like that, you're still toast if you lose one drive. Or at least the recovery of the functioning drive would be non-trivial (shucking, specialist recovery tools, inconsistent data and so on).

It's objectively safer than RAID0 of course, but don't let JBOD (or really any type of RAID) give a false sense of security. Backup, backup, backup.
