Hi, i've tried to create a dns directory in virtual machine with WS 2008, but when i choose dns server in the Active directory assistant said "A delegation cannot be created for this DNS server because the authorized primary zone is not found". What's de primary zone and how can be solucionated?

Thanks.

its the name of your domain, so if you have a Domain controller and a top level domain called mydomain.net for example that is your primary zone. You can have child domains and the DNS server can exist in them also but that comes later. Maybe you DNS server cannot see your domain controller.

That's fine. Essentially if your the only domain in the forest and there are no domains above that is a standard error message. I throws a lot of people but its exactly what your supposed to see. Essentially that error can be ignored. Just click next
