Hi

I have had my AV receiver about 4 years now and over the last few months the rear left speaker has no output.

I have tried a new speaker, no joy.
I have tried this speaker with the rear right output and it works fine.

I have come to the conclusion it's the actual receiver channel.

Is there anything I can try to fix this? Could a fuse have blown inside that I can easily replace?

Ideally I don't want to spend hundreds on a new one.

If the speaker works elsewhere, it's most likely the amp at fault.
Seems strange though, seeing as the fronts do a lot more work.
The only other thing I can think of is that you might have somehow turned the output right down on that channel?
Oh, double check the wiring to that channel too.
It may have inadvertently been broken somewhere or disconnected at the back of the amp.

The wiring is OK as I moved the wire to another channel on the amp to test it and it worked.

The output is set the same as rear right.

It worked the other night for about 10 minutes and then went fuzzy and stopped, I bit the bullet and bought a new Denon instead.
